Position Summary:
The Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) is responsible for leading and overseeing the entire recruitment strategy, process, and team within an organization. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the company attracts, recruits, and retains top talent across all departments. The Head of Talent Acquisition works closely with senior leadership to align recruitment efforts with business goals and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and growth trajectory.
- Build and enhance the company's employer brand to position it as an employer of choice in the marketplace.
- Utilize data and recruitment metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of the recruitment strategy and process.
- Analyze hiring trends, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, using this data to make informed decisions and continuously improve recruitment efforts.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on recruitment progress and workforce planning.
- Lead initiatives to attract a diverse workforce and promote inclusion within the hiring process.
- Collaborate with HR and other leaders to ensure that recruitment practices are aligned with the organization's DEI objectives and goals.
- Monitor and assess diversity metrics and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Work closely with leadership to plan for succession and ensure the organization is prepared for future talent needs.
- Ensure that all recruitment practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting top talent.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
Qualifications: Education: MBA
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of leading successful recruitment strategies, particularly at a strategic level for large or growing organizations.
- Experience in managing teams, budgets, and recruiting resources.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, hiring, and retaining talent across various job functions and levels.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of DEI principles and practices.
- Experience with recruitment analytics, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR technologies.
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and external partners.
