Job Description
Breeze is a leading developer friendly Platform for Hosting and Developing Magento & WordPress websites and apps.
We are looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer who is passionate about building and scaling great tools for developers, and to lead our efforts in building and scaling our Cloud Platform.
This role requires sound knowledge and experience in managing or working with technologies core to cloud computing, web services, and multi-tier compute architectures. We need someone who possesses hands-on, in-depth knowledge of two or more of the following areas: cloud tools engineering, public cloud management, Networking, or infrastructure engineering.
Our Stack LEMP/LAMP, Windows, Containerization, Virtualization, NodeJS, NextJS, Terraform, Ansible, RunDeck, LXC, ZFS, ELK, AWS, Kubernetes etc.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot server level issues efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver excellent customer support via email/helpdesk, and live chat
- Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
- Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
- Researching, developing, and implementing new tools and processes to improve and automate Operational Support.
- Migrate Applications(Magento & WordPress) from one cloud to another.
- Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience working with Linux
- Excellent understanding of Linux, cloud networking, and server management Concepts.
- Experience with AWS or Any Cloud.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and container technologies (LXC, Docker & Kubernetes)
- Experience writing Bash, Python, and Ansible scripts
- Experience working with ELK stack.
- Technical awareness and ability to quickly understand new technologies
- Experience and understanding of CI/CD & DevOps.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with the WordPress/Magento stack (PHP, MySQL)
- Experience with Security & QATesting
