Job Description
Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Executive - Logistics is responsible for managing Import logistics to Sri Lanka (PO receipt to in-house) and cross-country imports to other business operating locations such as Bangladesh / Cambodia (PO receipt to end delivery), which are coordinated from Sri Lanka.
Includes guiding Accenture logistics on day to day operations / issue resolution, providing decisions (incoterms, bank selection, forwarder selection for new suppliers), relationship management with suppliers and other external stake holders, governance and functional cost savings implementation.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee seamless Import operations, including T&A achievement, driving Accenture Logistics for Import KPIs, escalated issue resolution, etc.
Drive governance, cost savings, analytics & MIS for the Import Logistics function
Manage relationships with internal and external stake holders for achievement of the Import Logistics objectives
Lead and manage the team of Import Logistics Executives
Education
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Clothing Technology/ Textile Engineering/ Statistics or a related filed
Experience
2 to 3+ years of relevant experience in Export Logistics management. Knowledge of Export regulatory procedures and documentation requirements
