Job Purpose
- Understanding deep consumer & category insights for designated category/(ies)
- Understand white spaces & unmet need states with a definitive right to win for the brand
- Size the opportunity & potential business levers
- Collaborate with key functions - Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Finance for developing a winning proposition
- Designing the demand generation model in partnership with the marketing, sales & finance team
- Planning and execution of Innovations in India.
- Responsible for delivering the plan Innovation P&L for Brand for India market.
- Responsible for Innovation building and top line and bottom-line delivery through the following.
- Strategy and planning
- Understanding consumer insights and bringing corresponding science to life
Key responsibilities
- Delivering differentiated on-time in-full consumer, expert and shopper validated launch toolkit.
- Responsible for delivering Plan Innovation value and success metrics post launch.
- Delivering category leading Innovation share on Digital, E commerce and Modern Trade.
- Delivering KPI driven model for driving higher trials
- Driving Brand Innovation Connections
- Efficient market mapping and segmentation
- Understanding consumers by segments
Qualifications and skills
- MBA from Premium Business School
This role requires ability to launch innovations, develop brand strategy, align senior stakeholders and focus on strong execution.
Previous Experience Required - 5 years +
Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required
(2-3 years of Innovation Marketing experience)
Why is this level of experience required?
The role involves working with the category teams, agency partners, sales team to deliver on Brand strategy / plans. Hence demonstrated ability to create and implement consistent brand plans across regions / channels and through all consumers touch points is a must.
Digital Marketing and E commerce Experience is an added advantage along with a science background.

- Master's degree
- Strong financial capabilities and business acumen
- Experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations including organizational changes and changes in job demands
