Branch Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Leading/managing the team members/customer relationship officers to achieve the business target numbers on monthly basis with right product mix and good customer quality
• Coordination among different team such as credit, operations, IT etc. in order to complete the task without any hindrances
• Taking ownership of the branch and its activities including marketing drives, branding and promotion, alternate channel activities
• Strengthening alternate channels like Vistaar Mitra, VCP etc. to enhance the business potential.
• Updating/training the CROs about changes in the product features or any changes in the procedure on regular interval.
• To be part of hiring process of capable and dedicated CROs along with the higher officials in order to strengthen the human resource position of the company and thereby ensuring continuous business cycle.
• Execution of task with complete integrity and transparency

Functional Responsibilities

• Achieving the given target within time limits by supporting team members
• Continuous generation of business through SBML CRO, SBHL CRO, VMCRO with healthy mix of different products like SBHL, SBHL+, SBML and SBML+. New alternate channels and products would be informed to the branch managers accordingly
• Maintaining healthy product ratio with nil delinquency
• Containing over dues with proactive measures
• Conducting daily huddle meeting in the first hour with CROs, CM and Ops to discuss the business strategy, sharing of different ideas, solve/attend any issues with overall objective of achieving team spirit and business.
• Ensuring timely and regular log in by the respective CROs in order to keep the business flowing on continuous basis.
• Conducting PPD, PD with utmost sincerity and agility to decide the genuine requirement/capacity of the borrower and timely delivery of the results.
• Ensuring creation of mortgage wherever applicable on a timely basis and with proper verification and papers to be in order with respect to the legal opinion given by the empanelled advocate.
• Monitoring the portfolio regularly in order to contain any delinquency symptoms in the initial stage by meeting such clients with proactive measures.
• Sincere and dedicated effort to collect/ recover overdue amount from the respective clients on regular basis and support to recovery team as and when required.
• Inspection of collateral properties as a part of sanction process and also on regular interval after disbursement as a part of monitoring.
• Taking any additional responsibility as and when it is required with focus on deliverables.
