Development Engineer

Functional:

• Maintenance of pattern plates. • To carryout modifications on the gating system, pattern plates & core masks as per authorized and documented report. • To utilize CAE for the simulation of new products and running products. • To maintain relevant records. • To coordinate in tooling layout design. • To conduct trials and process the new product samples at various stages till dispatch. • Preparation of pattern plates for production. • Documenting the changes in the gating system. • To carry out the tooling modifications for repair quality improvements and implementation of engineering changes requests/issue changes.

Budgeting

: • To assist for the preparation of annual departmental revenue budget by accounting manpower, material, machine, methods for meeting departmental goals and objectives.

Cost Management:

• Effective utilization of all resources like men, machine and material in the shift to reduce total operation cost.

Management Reporting:

• Collection of data and analysis in the shift as per the established reporting mechanisms for making suitable decisions. People Responsibilities: • To assist for the planning of manpower for current needs for the departments.
