Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role is perfect for individuals who are proactive, organized and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management:
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
2. Vendor Relations:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
3. Inventory Coordination:
• Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Address shortages or overstock situations promptly.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and analyze procurement reports.
5. Market Research:
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing and supplier availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
6. Compliance:
• Ensure procurement processes align with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role (freshers are encouraged to apply).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
