Devops Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience in infrastructure management and a deep understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS public cloud technologies and will be proficient in managing both Linux and Windows-based infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage DevOps and DevSecOps environments.
- Maintain expertise in AWS public cloud services including EC2, ECS, EFS, ELB, Redis, Opensearch, Kafka, S3, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Configure and manage VMware environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS services and tools like Jenkins and GIT.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, ECS, and EKS.
- Ensure robust configuration and support for Linux and Windows-based infrastructure services.
- Manage databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, and MongoDB.
- Understand and implement network and security protocols including Load Balancers, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS, and Network Routing.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to streamline processes.
- Coordinate and guide interactions between development, testing, business units, and the DevOps team.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
- Deliver presentations, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and handle customer interactions proficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure management with a focus on DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with AWS public cloud and VMware.
- Experience with Jenkins, GIT, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of database management (MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer handling skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or other relevant technologies.
- Bachelor degree.
