Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to lead the design and user experience for our mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces, with expertise in creating seamless user journeys. Experience in the US healthcare industry is a plus, as our products are tailored for healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design: Lead the design process from conceptualization to execution for mobile and web applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, gather insights, and translate findings into actionable designs. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and incorporate end-user needs and business goals.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
• Collaboration with Development: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to ensure design feasibility and adherence to project timelines. Provide detailed design specifications for seamless implementation.
• User Testing & Iteration: Facilitate user testing sessions, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs to improve user experience.
• Maintain Design Standards: Ensure that all designs align with brand guidelines and industry standards, particularly adhering to accessibility standards relevant to healthcare.
• Healthcare-specific UX: Design with an understanding of HIPAA compliance and the usability requirements unique to the healthcare sector, ensuring security and usability for patient-centric applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web application design.
• Healthcare Knowledge: Experience in designing applications for the US healthcare industry or understanding of healthcare workflows, terminology, and compliance (HIPAA).
• Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other design and prototyping tools.
• User Research: Solid experience in conducting user research, testing, and analyzing user behavior.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is preferred to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to use tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar to understand user interactions and refine designs based on data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with healthcare software, EHR systems, patient portals, or other healthcare applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA compliance.
• Experience designing for HIPAA-compliant environments.usability and accessibility concepts
