Server Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Server Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in Windows server administration. The ideal candidate will be proficient in troubleshooting, installation, and support of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking issues. The role involves monitoring, managing, and supporting IT infrastructure, including servers, backup systems, and antivirus solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows server environments, including installation, configuration, and support.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of servers, backups, and antivirus systems.
• Independently resolve client IT issues with expertise in Windows Administration, Backup Approaches, MS Patch Management, and Domain Controllers.
• Manage Microsoft Windows servers with a focus on Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Print Servers, and Group Policies.
• Oversee virtualized environments using Hyper-V, Nutanix, and/or VMWare.
• Configure and troubleshoot various Windows operating systems (2012/2016/2019).
• Implement and manage Windows Server Backup procedures and patch management.
• Engage in Root Cause Analysis, service restoration, and disaster recovery processes.
• Work with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Windows administration, including troubleshooting, installation, and support.
• Proven ability to monitor and administer IT infrastructure effectively.
• Solid experience in Multi-Domain Administration, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Exchange Administration.
• Proficient with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 in a datacenter environment.
• Experience with ESX Servers, Nutanix, VMWare/Hyper-V, and backup/storage solutions.
• Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis, disaster recovery, and patch management.
• Experience with Remote Infrastructure Management is highly desirable.
