Audit Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Conduct internal audits of various departments and processes to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
2. Evaluate financial and operational processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
3. Perform risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk and develop audit plans accordingly.
4. Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Document audit findings and prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing observations, recommendations, and action plans.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress towards resolution.
7. Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends in audit methodology.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of audit policies, procedures, and methodologies.
9. Provide support to external auditors during annual audits and regulatory examinations.
10. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CA/ CA Inter/MBA Finance/BBA/ CMA/ICWA.
2. Proven experience in internal auditing, preferably in [industry/sector].
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas of risk.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision in work.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
