Asst Manager / Dy. Manager - MIS and Reporting

Role & responsibilities

1. Preparation of Global Head Office reporting and FAYAT annual reporting requirements
2. Monthly closing activities like P&L closing, GL closing, balance sheet closing an reconciliation, accrual of balance sheet etc.
3. Analyze weekly and monthly quality review results to identify error trends in processes.
4. Conduct robust root cause analysis on the identified error trends to determine process improvements, training needs, or system enhancements to improve the quality of the monthly closure & reporting process.
5. Adherence to quality standards and FAYAT policies & procedures.
6. Implementation of new internal controls review checks resulting from regulatory changes, system enhancements and process improvements.
7. Proactively seek and maintain a working knowledge of the most current monthly closure and FP&A processes
8. Provide dedicated analytical & reporting support, focusing on initiatives that will enable improvements to oversight, controls, efficiency, and client satisfaction
9. Design, build and monitor executive dashboards and reports.
10. Standardize, automate, provided improvements to and coordinate monthly closure and reporting.
11. Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors.
12. Providing thoughtful outcomes and support to managers and employees on financial matters, such as budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
13. Assist in implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
14. Collaborating with other departments to identify and assess potential risks and opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

1. CA/CMA/MBA with more than 10 years of working experience in Monthly closure and reporting preferably in manufacturing/assembly of construction machinery, agricultural machines or other vehicle construction industry
2. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting policies with the ability to drive to root cause of specific concerns.
3. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
4. Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills. German language skills will be an added advantage.
