Job Summary:

Bodhi Mind Care Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, providing expert psychiatric consultation, and developing personalized treatment plans to support patients on their journey to wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating therapy, medication, and holistic approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, nurses, and social workers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Offer psychoeducation to patients and families to enhance understanding and support recovery.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and hospital development initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, trainees, and other mental health professionals.
• Stay updated on the latest psychiatric research and treatment methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS with a specialization in Psychiatry (MD/DNB or equivalent) or MBBS freshers can also apply.
• Valid medical license and board certification in psychiatry.
• 0 - 5 years of experience in a clinical psychiatric setting.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centric approach.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care.
• Proficiency in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques.
• Familiarity with mental health laws, ethical guidelines, and best practices.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and crisis management.
• Research and teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory).
