Vice President, Dynamic Discounting Manager

Manages a team of support staff for administration of a single assigned activity, such as Systems, Analysis, Invoice Processing, Sustainable Procurement, Contract Management.

Ensures all processes related to the effective establishment of this activity are defined, implemented and tracked throughout the whole project lifecycle.

Works closely with Global Procurement, Legal and Risk, amongst other functions to agree upon mutual requirements for services and outcomes.

Directs the teams delivery of the assigned activity, ensuring that this is conducted and maintained in the appropriate systems, meets key service commitments and have appropriate performance reported as required.

Monitors the teams timely delivery and sets effective routines for testing and quality assurance.

Oversees the teams performance reporting for the assigned activity, including ensuring that major services are delivered in accordance with agreed targets and that performance attributes including cost, time-to-process and error rates are captured appropriately.

Ensures support staff are maintaining precedent templates on the appropriate intranet database so that they are available to sourcing managers for use in the assigned activity.

Reviews templates for inclusion of major areas of spend, provisions for global agreements and/or regional schedules and appropriate versions of organizational policies.

Initiates regular reviews of these templates in conjunction with Legal and Risk.

Recruits, directs, motivates and develops support staff, maximizing their individual contribution and their ability to function effectively as a team.

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

7-10 years of total work experience, with 0-1 years of management experience, preferred.
