Job Description
BMC is looking for a Senior Dot Net Developer to join our experienced web development team
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
Be an important contributor in an agile web development team, using the latest web technologies to develop the new front end for enterprise software, that is mission-critical with thousands of customers around the world.
Design and develop features for an industry-leading product using modern front-end technologies.
Work in an Agile methodology within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and produce high-quality features.
Develop unit tests and component tests for each feature.
Collaborate with other teams to develop joint features together.
Provide high-quality support to our customers.
Required Skill:
Proven experience as a .NET Developer, preferably with 7 years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular
Hands-on Jira, Git/GitHub
Experience with SQL Server / Oracle.
Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Java is a plus.
Additional experience with .NET v7+ and cross-platform .NET development would be helpful.
Experience with the IBM z/OS mainframe operating system is a plus.
A knowledge of AI/ML and ChatGPT is advantageous.
Mathematical background in statistical data analysis and processing is a plus.
