We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in English to provide expert guidance, support, and content development across various projects and initiatives. The SME will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and effectiveness of English language content, supporting the development of educational materials, and acting as a go-to resource for language-related queries. This role requires a strong command of English grammar, literature, writing techniques, and linguistic trends, paired with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teams.
Content Development: Collaborate with instructional designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to develop educational and training materials, guides, and resources in English. This includes writing, editing, and reviewing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and appropriateness.
Quality Assurance: Review and edit written content (e.g., articles, reports, manuals, training materials) for grammar, punctuation, style, and consistency. Ensure that content adheres to established standards and is free of errors.
Research & Analysis: Conduct research to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the English language, including grammar rules, usage, and literature. Provide insights and recommendations on best practices in writing and communication.
Training & Mentorship: Offer guidance and training to team members, colleagues, and clients on English writing, grammar, language rules, and communication strategies. Provide expert feedback and support to help improve writing skills across the organization.
Consultation & Support: Serve as the primary resource for answering complex language-related questions and providing expert advice on English usage in both professional and educational contexts.
Content Review: Evaluate and validate language-based materials and resources for consistency, tone, voice, and audience appropriateness. Make suggestions for improvement to align with the target audience and objectives.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, education, publishing) to ensure that all English language content aligns with organizational goals and strategies.
Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest language trends, teaching methodologies, and technologies that can improve content creation and communication.
