Blue Yonder - Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (3-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Architecting, designing, and developing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) solutions for new and existing problems in the supply chain space.

- Work closely with a team of data scientists and collaborate with stakeholders from application teams to research solutions, identify go-forward approaches, develop POCs, and determine final solutions.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 3-7 years of experience in Software development; ideally a candidate that has started as a Software Engineer and has been working in the data science, AI/ML space for at least 3-6 years.

- Demonstrated ability to identify and design solutions using AI/ML.

- Demonstrable experience with microservices-based architecture on Cloudat scale.

- Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software development.

- Experience with API management platforms and providing/consuming RESTful APIs.

- Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and infrastructure automation.

- Preferably in different programming languages such as Python, Tensor Flow, Keras, AWS (ML and DL), Numpy, and Pytorch.

In addition the need to be familiar with disciplines as follows :

- Natural Language Processing, Machine learning, Conceptual modeling, Statistical analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Hypothesis testing.

Data scientists should have at least some of the following capabilities :

- Cleaning data, formatting data, Having the ability to query databases & perform statistical analysis, building AI Data Modelling, validating the AI Model, and deployment.

- Being able to develop or program databases.

- Having a good understanding of design & architecture principles.
