Blue Yonder - Performance Engineer (3-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, execute, and analyze performance tests for web applications and services.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.

- Use performance testing tools like JMeter to simulate load and measure response times.

- Analyze performance data from monitoring tools like ElasticSearch, Splunk, or DataDog.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure application performance meets requirements.

- Optimize database queries and indexes for improved performance.

- Tune JVM settings for optimal performance.

- Automate performance testing processes using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Stay updated on the latest performance testing methodologies and tools.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3-7 years of experience as a Performance Engineer.

- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.

- Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter.

- Experience with monitoring tools like ElasticSearch, Splunk, or DataDog.

- Knowledge of Java programming language.

- Understanding of database concepts and SQL.

- Familiarity with the Java Virtual Machine (JVM).

- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.

- Hands-on experience with tools like Linux, Jira, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, IntelliJ/Eclipse, and Toad.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
