Sr Financial Analyst - AMG

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Financial Analyst, Asset Management Group to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of todays most exciting technologies. The position is responsible for the operation of a fleet of fuel cells owned by Bloom and its partners which produces electricity for host-off takers. This analyst position will require work with peers in, finance/accounting, sales, and field/customer services in a dynamic start-up environment. The successful candidate will possess flexibility, analytical skills, and the ability to deal with occasional periods of heavy work load. The position will report to the Sr. Asset Manager of the Asset Management Group.

Location: This position will be based in Bangalore, India.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitor performance of fuel cells and generate daily/monthly/quarterly fleet performance
  report for management and external stakeholders
• Calculating performance guarantees for various portfolios and following up with various
  stakeholders on updating missing information
• Accounting of performance guarantee accruals, preparation of BS reconciliations and
  support on variance analysis and 10q/k supporting schedules
• Compile and analyze complex financial models from raw data
• Compile documents weekly based on contractual requirements vital to Site level progress
  payments
• Produce annual operating budget for the projects. Monitor and manage the budget monthly
  to ensure projects are on track.
• Manage internal cross-functional communications with sales, marketing, business
  development, corporate finance, field services and installations.
• Analyze process improvement opportunities and manage processes related to reporting

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in a financial analyst or technical role building and maintaining complex financial models. A degree in finance, business, engineering.
• Preferably Qualified CA/CMA, or strong background in accounting.
• Responsible, reliable, proactive, self-starter, and independent.
• Comfortable with fast-paced environment.
• Solid communication skills. Must be able to articulate and communicate complex data information or issues to executives, external stakeholders, and internal team members.
• Knowledge of Tableau and SQL will be a big plus.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel in addition to working level knowledge of other MS Office products such as Word and PowerPoint.
