Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Executive at Blink Digital! This role involves managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, maintaining accurate records, and providing support for both client and vendor transactions.
On any given day you might:
TDS / Equalization Levy: After booking all valid vendor invoices in the system, prepare the working for TDS calculations and applicable Equalization Levy, and share it with superiors for further action.
GST Management: Handle the entire flow of GST, including GSTR-1, 2B, and 3B, and prepare reports in the required format. Prepare RCM workings and, after approval, arrange for payment release.
TDS Return: Prepare the data for quarterly TDS returns and share the calculations with seniors for filing. Follow up with the CA for TDS certificates to share with vendors. For Meta, ensure the declaration of filing the TDS return matches the amount deducted from the payment, and ensure the outstanding amount is reduced accordingly.
MSME Status Check: Annually check with MSME vendors regarding their status, which may vary according to turnover, obtain declarations, and share the final data with the CS.
Compliance Payments: Prepare various compliance payments before their due dates and submit them to the respective manager for approval. Ensure that adequate funds are available well in advance to meet these liabilities.
GST Discrepancies Report: Prepare a detailed report identifying unreconciled GST discrepancies between Tally accounting records and the GST portal. Investigate and document instances where GST transactions are present on the GST portal but missing from Tally records, and vice versa. Provide recommendations to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate GST reporting and compliance.
TDS Certificates: Promptly request TDS certificates from the consultant following the filing of the TDS return. Ensure the received TDS certificates are accurate and complete, and send them to vendors in a timely manner to facilitate their record-keeping and compliance.
Credit Card Payments: Assist the internal team in clarifying queries related to credit card payment working.
Client Refund: Maintain the refund spreadsheet and assist in processing client refunds.
Transaction Monitoring and Reporting: Review unusual transactions, prepare detailed reports, monitor creditors with debit balances, and oversee the onboarding of new vendors.
Compliance Coordination: Work with the Compliance Manager to clarify the application of compliance requirements for recording transactions. Ensure compliance matters are discussed and resolved before discharging any related taxes.
Query Resolution: Address all queries by providing solutions to the internal finance team, business team, and vendors. Arrange real-time calls if necessary to resolve queries promptly.
Raising and Managing RO (Release Orders): Raise ROs as requested by the business team and maintain detailed records of all ROs. Ensure no job is offered to any vendor without an approved RO.
Vendor IO (Insertion Order) Review: Review the Vendor IO and coordinate the provision of signed copies to vendors. Maintain accurate records of all signed IOs.
Vendor Registration and Document Verification: Responsible for vendor registration, including verification of Vendor Registration Forms (VRF) and onboarding documents. Check completed VRFs, validate GST, ensure PAN activation, and verify MSME certification.
Client and Vendor Payouts: Assist the internal team by providing clarification and resolving any doubts related to client and vendor payouts.
AGI and Mapping Monitoring: Ensure that AGI (Account Grouping Information) and mapping are completed by the Manager for all purchases and expenses. Highlight any discrepancies or omissions and report them to the MIS Manager.
Vendor Payout and Compliance Queries: Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related payout and compliance queries. Provide clarity to vendors regarding pending invoices and arrange joint calls with the business team to resolve issues.
Vendor Payment Processing: Review vendor invoices to ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements. Release vendor payments once client payments are received, following due diligence by the business team.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and all associated documentation, ensuring proper filing for future reference.
AP Report: Share payable data with the MIS personnel twice a month. Highlight overdue vendor outstanding details to the internal and business teams, and obtain reasons for the overdue invoices.
Balance Confirmation: Annually obtain balance confirmations from vendors to ensure accurate financial records. For larger vendors, conduct quarterly cross-checks of the ledger to ensure consistency with the vendor s records.
Ledger Scrutiny: Conduct thorough scrutiny of ledgers, reconcile them with payments, TDS, and purchase entries, and ensure accurate closure of the accounts.

You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
