Resilience Head - Site Reliability Engineering (18-27 yrs)

Key Skills :

- Prior experience in Production Support, SRE is a must.

- Experience in Android, IOS, API & varied experience of handling huge customer base across regions, specifically for mobile as a service.

- Experience in Java, python, Docker, Kubernetes

- Must be able to automate the monitoring using Python, Groovy etc - for setups like Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetic Monitoring etc.

- Sound cloud knowledge on AWS, On-prem and On-cloud resources, API, cloud watch.

- Excellent communication along with strong stakeholder management

- Looking for candidates from banking /Fintech domain.

- Good to have knowledge & working experience in Agile, Scrum / Kanban methodologies

Principal responsibilities

The Head of Resilience works with the Value Streams providing Site Reliability Engineering leadership, vision and direction as part of a global Production Integrity and SRE team.

Will be accountable for :

- Working with teams to develop ways of working,

- Helping establish SLO's and associated monitoring,

- Improve monitoring and alerting,

- Increasing automation,

- Ensure toolset adoption and coverage,

- Reducing toil,

- Improving resilience,

- Developing resource capability and SRE mindset

An important component of the role will be to manage delivery of impactful change through :

- Identifying, analyzing data to understand drivers for work and SRE associated opportunities.

- Engaging and influencing stakeholders, working with appropriate team members to clarify opportunities, agree approach and delivery.

- Establishing and leading community of practices to deliver outcomes improving customer experience, team efficiency and outcomes for team members.

What you will bring to the role :

1. Prior experience in Production Support, SRE, Change, Release, Problem, Service Management

2. Sound knowledge on REST APIs using JSON, Java Web Services on SOAP, OAuth Integrations

3. Sound knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes

4. Sound Cloud Knowledge (preferably on AWS, in services like EKS, Lambdas, API Gateway, Load Balancers, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS)

5. Prior experience of working as a DevOps or SRE Engineer

6. Hands on experience on Application performance management, and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, DataDog, CloudWatch, X-ray, ZipKin, etc. (Any experience in reporting, visualisation tools e.g. QlikSense, Dashboards in AppDynamics, Splunk will be an added advantage.)

7. Sound knowledge Jenkins, Groovy for CI/CD

8. Sound knowledge Python, Shell Scripting for Automation

9. Hands on experience on Version Control systems like GitHub, and Tagging, Releases setup

10. Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, articulation, and interpersonal skills

11. Excellent Problem-Solving, triaging skills, and strongly positive attitude to improve operational ways of working

12. Ability to influence stakeholders convincingly with well-considered & rationalised logic

13. Experience in using JIRA & Confluence or equivalent portals.

14. Good Knowledge & working experience in Agile, Scrum / Kanban methodologies
