Job Description :

Position Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Architect with extensive experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to lead the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions for internal use and potential partner or customer applications.

This role involves architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance AI solutions using Azure's advanced AI/ML tools, and contributing to the overall AI strategy of the organization.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments, lead innovation initiatives, and drive AI/ML projects from conceptualization to deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical & Engineering Leadership :

- Serve as the technical authority for designing and architecting AI solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

- Ensure that AI architectures across Data Center, and Cloud environments meet enterprise security, performance, and scalability standards.

- Lead the end-to-end architecture and development of internal AI projects, leveraging Azure AI services, including Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Azure Synapse, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Ensure the integration of AI solutions into the company's existing infrastructure to optimize business processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

- Stay hands-on with the latest AI innovations and leverage platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure Bot Service, and Custom Vision to implement practical and cutting-edge AI models.

- Ensure AI solutions adhere to enterprise governance, compliance, and security standards, particularly in the Azure cloud environment.

AI Solution Development :

- Architect and develop AI-driven solutions for internal departments, including Sales, Finance, Procurement, Operations, etc., to automate processes, derive insights, and improve business decision-making.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and define AI use cases that align with business objectives, providing solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability.

- Drive the integration of AI and machine learning models into the organization's digital products and platforms using Azure AI/ML tools.

- Prototype and develop internal AI proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions to demonstrate business value and later scale them using Azure Machine Learning for production deployment.

- Lead experimentation and deployment of Generative AI models (e. , Azure GPT, BERT), ensuring they meet business and technical needs.

- Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Spearhead AI innovation initiatives internally to keep the organization at the cutting edge of AI technology, leveraging Azure AI services and Microsoft AI advancements.

- Identify opportunities for internal process optimization using AI and automation, proposing solutions that reduce manual effort and streamline workflows across departments.

- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by driving experimentation with new AI models and Azure AI tools to improve solution robustness, performance, and accuracy.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Leadership :

- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business leaders to ensure that AI solutions are built with a clear understanding of both business needs and technical constraints.

- Work alongside data scientists, software engineers, and DevOps teams to implement machine learning models and ensure seamless integration with Azure cloud infrastructure.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams and technical staff, fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.

Scalability & Deployment :

- Lead efforts to scale AI models from development to full deployment, ensuring they are robust, secure, and able to handle real-world workloads in Azure.

- Optimize AI/ML solutions for both internal use cases and potential external deployment, ensuring they can be easily adapted for use by partners or customers when necessary.

- Oversee the deployment of AI models into production environments using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless updates and enhancements to AI systems.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI architecture design, with at least 5 years of experience focused on AI/ML in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (or AWS/Google Cloud).

- Proficiency with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Synapse, AKS, and other Azure-based AI tools or equivalent tools in AWS (SageMaker, Lambda) and Google Cloud (Vertex AI, AI Platform).

- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and hands-on experience with Generative AI models (e., GPT, BERT, DALL-E).

- Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions or AWS Code Pipeline, or Google Cloud Build for CI/CD automation, ensuring smooth deployments of AI solutions.

- Proven track record of building and deploying AI models in large-scale production environments within Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

- Experience with data engineering, data preprocessing, and feature engineering, ensuring AI models have access to clean and structured data.

- Strong knowledge of AI governance, ethical AI practices, and bias mitigation techniques in production environments.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go for AI/ML development and system integration.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Desired Skills :

- Certifications in AI/ML or Azure (e. , Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer).

- Experience in Azure AI governance, monitoring AI performance, and managing AI model lifecycles.

- Experience with AI-based automation for internal processes like sales optimization, procurement, and operations.

- Knowledge of Responsible AI frameworks and Azure's Responsible AI tools or equivalent in AWS or Google Cloud.
