Travel Executive (IATA)

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international flights, hotel accommodations, transfers, and other travel-related services for clients.
• Coordinate and book travel itineraries for individuals, groups, and corporate clients.
• Provide advice on travel destinations, costs, and the best routes based on client preferences and budgets.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all travel-related inquiries and concerns.
• Resolve travel-related issues such as booking discrepancies, cancellations, and rebooking in a timely and efficient manner.
• Issue, modify, and cancel flight tickets, hotel reservations, and other travel documents as per client requests.
• Ensure all travel documentation (flight tickets, visas, insurance) are accurate and comply with travel regulations.
• Utilize IATA-certified systems for booking and managing international airfares and travel arrangements.
• Stay up to date with IATA guidelines, rules, and the latest airline policies regarding ticketing, baggage, and flight changes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and travel-related software.
• A passion for travel and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• IATA Certification (International Air Transport Association) is required.
• Proven experience as a Travel Executive or in a similar role in the travel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of international and domestic travel processes, including ticketing, visa requirements, and travel insurance
