Performance Tester

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Performance Tester with hands-on experience in performance testing and analysis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices, with a proven ability to ensure that our applications and systems meet high performance and scalability standards.

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Utilize performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Neo Load, etc.) to assess system performance, load handling, and scalability.
• Analyse performance test results and provide actionable insights to identify system bottlenecks and recommend performance optimization strategies.
• Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and identify performance-related issues early in the development cycle.
• Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests to evaluate system behaviour under varying loads.
• Monitor application performance during test execution and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and development teams to ensure continuous integration of performance tests in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Create detailed reports and presentations summarizing test results, findings, and recommendations for performance improvements.
• Identify root causes of performance issues and suggest corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies related to performance testing.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in performance testing, load testing, stress testing and Automation.
• Proficiency in using performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Neo Load, or similar.
• Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse performance metrics and diagnose issues.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON, XML) and databases (SQL).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for reporting results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Knowledge of performance testing for microservices and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with distributed load testing and testing of large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the use of performance testing in Agile projects.
