Principal Responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible for organizing events for alumni connect and engagement on BITS campuses as well as in major Indian cities. He / she will also be responsible for fostering relation with all BITSAA chapters. The detailed responsibilities will include:

• Cultivating & nurturing relationship with alumni across the world.
• Developing & managing BITS strategy for raising funds from alumni and corporates.
• Leading communication with key donors and funders with the aim of cultivating, growing and sustaining long- term funding and collaboration.
• Working with the alumni relations team to use technology tools effectively, increasing process automation and deploying other innovative tools for better alumni engagement.
• Undertaking social media campaigns for alumni engagement.
• Designing an on-campus event calendar.
• Planning & organizing individual alumni speaking sessions, events and leading execution of these events.
• Managing outreach and post event feedback, with an opportunity to improve future event designs.
• Working with faculty and student volunteers, campus clubs to explore & create opportunities to connect with alumni for periodic on-campus events.
• Responsible for management of the alumni database.
• Any other duties assigned by the Associate Dean from time-to time.

• Should exhibit a high degree of ownership, commitment and flexibility, should be able to put in extra hours as per work demands.

Qualification and Experience

• Post Graduate in any discipline with minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in independently conceptualizing, designing and executing events.
• Experience in an educational institution or a university would be a plus.

Tenure and Remuneration

• Rs 8- 10 Lakhs CTC per annum. On term-based appointment for two years

(extendable on good performance review).
