Legal Support - MMR / Mumbai

Job Purpose : Support the Regional Head for managing legal operations in the region and provide support to corporate legal team by providing inputs on regional nuances for land acquisitions, litigation, documentation and legal support to mitigate potential legal risks

Principal Accountabilities :-

• To work with the BD team & the liaison team to complete the legal due diligence of land on time and ensure legal risks are properly evaluated & mitigated.
• Drafting of agreements and vetting required during Business Development Process for the region to complete the agreement on time
• Support the corporate litigation person in preparation of responses & matters to be presented in hearings of the Regional Litigation cases to ensure satisfactory progress on the case.
• Handling customer queries on legal issues for Closure of customer and creating the basic set of FAQs for the CRM team to handle routine legal queries
• Draft and vet legal contracts/ Documents that are being used in the region and provide interpretation / clarification on clauses as and when required.
• To work with all department teams to ensure RERA is filed on time and quarterly compliances are done
• To keep a track of all legal compliances and red-flag non-compliances on a periodic basis in the region
• Participate in legal conferences, keep a track of changes in laws and regulations on a periodic basis and implement the agreed development plans for self-capability building
