Packaging Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packaging Strategy and Innovation: Develop and implement packaging strategies

that optimize product protection, storage, and transportation efficiency. Drive

innovation in packaging design to meet specific requirements of agrochemical

products, considering factors such as chemical compatibility, shelf life, and regulatory

compliance.

2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure packaging materials and designs comply with local

and international regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA). Conduct thorough assessments and

testing to validate packaging performance and safety standards for hazardous

materials.

3. Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for packaging

development initiatives. Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and

adherence to budgetary constraints.

4. Cost Optimization: Implement cost-effective packaging solutions without

compromising quality or regulatory compliance. Evaluate suppliers, negotiate

contracts, and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost savings and operational

efficiencies.

5. Environmental Sustainability: Promote sustainable packaging practices within the

organization. Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact through

recyclable materials, waste reduction initiatives, and eco-friendly packaging designs.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality

assurance, and supply chain teams to integrate packaging requirements into product

development processes. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align

packaging solutions with market needs and customer preferences.

7. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging

technologies, and best practices in agrochemical packaging. Drive continuous

improvement initiatives to enhance packaging performance, sustainability, and

operational efficiency.
