Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable & Collections:
• Handle USA & international AR collections and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.
• Manage escalations and negotiate payment plans when required.
• Invoice & Accounting Postings:
• Post invoices accurately in the accounting system.
• Process and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing and reporting.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Generate AR aging reports and share collection status with management.
• Maintain and update customer payment records.
• Prepare periodic financial reports related to collections and accounts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in AR collections, international collections, or accounting.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle international clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
