Job Description

We are looking for the GM Cotton Operations to be part of the Cotton team and work on various projects like Market Operations, Supply Chain Management , Warehouse Management , Inventory Management , Procurement etc.

Responsibilities of the individual will involve:

• Work with cross functional departments to collect and compile operational data.
• Taking care of the Marketing Operations as per the prescribed BRS and ensure smooth and flawless Operations.
• Warehouse Management would be a major factor in terms of Distribution and Stock Inventory
• Study industry reports & keep a tab on key developments and trends in the agriculture market.
• Taking care of Procurement of Agriculture products on Day to Day Basis and preparing the material procurement plans of raw materials.
• Excellent team management skills and trying to be in good reach with the Project Managers.
• Cost Negotiation at the time of procurement
• Experience of handling a team of 20 people and above
• Experience of handling stock verification & Auction Mechanism.

Desired Profile

Technical Competency

• Ability to handle the complete SLCM of the product
• Strong understanding of the agriculture products. ( Cotton preferred)
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Word

• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while carrying multiple projects at any given time.

Education

B.sc/ M.sc – Agri/ Forestry & MBA into SLCM/ Operations or Textile Engineer with exp of working

10- 15 years
