AGM/Senior Manager / Manager- Purchase

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing APIs, Formulations, Capsules as per Planning requirements for all concerned LL sites
• Negotiate pricing with vendor, create Purchase orders, L/C in SAP .
• Conduct E-Auctions and finalize contracts with vendors
• Laisioning with suppliers and ensures smooth delivery flow of raw materials.
• To resolve any Quality related issues with due co-ordination with CQA Dept and LL sites
• To monitor and analyse Vendor Performance
• To analyse for Purchase Lead time and Purchase requisition lead Time Variance (PR -PLT Variance)
• Analysing for procurement vs budget forecasted rates
• To create strategy notes for key Raw Materials , Agri products
• To track intermediates / vitamins market prices
• To co-ordinate with Planning dept for future Raw material coverage based on market forecast
• To initiate new vendor development for Backward Integration Projects of key Raw materials / Vitamins
• To source new vendors for Formulation /APIs for achieving cost optimization
• To complete all new vendor registration formalities including sample analysis , documentation compliance etc
• To co-ordinate with CQA team till commercial procurement with new vendor
