Senior Collibra Specialist

About the role: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Collibra Specialist to join our team in India. In this role, you will take a leadership position in managing and enhancing our comprehensive data governance framework within Collibra. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across various functions to drive data governance initiatives, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain the highest standards of data integrity and transparency. What youll do: Lead the identification, documentation, and management of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) within Collibra.

Oversee and map complex data lineage to ensure transparency and accuracy of data flows across the organization. Manage and enhance the data catalog, ensuring it remains a trusted and reliable source of truth for all data assets. Conduct and lead regular audits, quality checks, and continuous monitoring to uphold data integrity and compliance with data governance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders to champion data governance initiatives, drive strategic decisions, and promote best practices across the organization.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. What youll need: Extensive experience working with Collibra, including expertise in data cataloging, lineage mapping, and data governance implementation. Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and industry best practices. Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Preferred: Certification in Collibra or related data governance tools. Experience leading large-scale data governance projects and initiatives.

Familiarity with data governance in regulated industries, such as finance, healthcare, or government.
