Hiring - Database Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Database Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires strong expertise in Transact-SQL (T-SQL), as well as experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Familiarity with database design, descriptive statistics, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Experience in the lending or loan servicing industry is also advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain database systems to support business applications and decision-making processes.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Develop and manage reports using SSRS, and implement data integration solutions using SSIS.
• Monitor database performance, conduct regular system audits, and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect against unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Document database designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference and training purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on T-SQL programming.
• Proficiency in SSRS and SSIS for reporting and data integration tasks.
• Familiarity with database design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics and experience in data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Understanding of the lending or loan servicing industry is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
