Job Description :

We are actively seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our innovative and dynamic team.

- The ideal candidate will be proficient in PHP, with knowledge of Python, and possess a strong background in backend development.

- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is essential, and familiarity with PHP REST frameworks, particularly Yii, is highly preferred.

- The successful candidate will be agile, take ownership of projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and high-performance backend solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Take ownership of backend development projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

- Implement and maintain database structures, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

- Contribute to the selection and adoption of appropriate technologies and tools.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Collaborate in an Agile development environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

- Deep understanding of Secured Coding Guidelines and OWASP.

- DevOps understanding on cloud with Bitbucket Pipelines, Docker Containers.

- Ability to deploy PHP applications in Cloud Environment.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of professional experience in backend development.

- Proficient in PHP with good knowledge of Python.

- Any PHP MVC framework knowledge is must.

- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Strong proficiency in PHP and Python.

- Experience with PHP REST frameworks, preferably Yii.

- Database expertise in PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or Bitbucket.

- Solid understanding of backend architecture and design principles.

- Experience in handling Linux servers.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Proven ability to take ownership and lead initiatives.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g, Laravel, Symfony, Yii).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g, AWS, Azure).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.gDocker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
