Job Description
- Perform data mining including predictive analytics and trends analysis
- Create a database that will store relevant data
- Design and visualize new reports and online dashboards
- Work directly with stakeholders and business analyst to understand and document requirements
- Communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders
- Create DAX scripts that will be used to calculate required metrics presented in dashboards
- Support data collection, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of bugs
- Create required documentation and ensure that it is clear, concise, and accurate
- Participate in the development of the project roadmap
- Work closely with the database architect, business analyst, and users to ensure timely and accurate delivery of development work
The Requirements
- Bachelor s degree and 3 - 8 years of related experience
- At least 3 years of experience in software development and support
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and ability to develop queries
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
- Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
- Good communication skills
- Experience developing reports, business requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, use cases and testing plans
- Strong knowledge of web technology products and delivery methodologies
- Adapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change
- Display a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new business requirements
- Ability to learn and apply new information, skills, and processes quickly and build upon existing knowledge and skills
- Must be able to function autonomously and as part of a virtual team
- Must be willing to work extended hours from time to time
