Job Description
Job Title: BI Developer
Location: Bengaluru
Reporting to: Project Owner
1. PURPOSE OF ROLE
Power-BI & SQL Developers, reporting to GCC Project Owner will have to develop Dynamic Power-BI dashboards, write SQL - Databricks & Snowflake, establishing connection to EDH, Validating Measures, Continuous improvement in refreshing data time, publishing Power-BI dashboards, create & manage tasks for user stories and working in agile framework.
2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
SQL - Databricks and ADF
- Writing Complex Queries
- Query optimization
- Create and manage ADF pipelines.
- Knowledge on Views and SPs
- Manipulation of Data
- Data Validation
Power BI
- Creating Wireframe
- DAX Queries
- ETL Process
- Data modelling
- Power-BI Service
- Building Dynamic Features
- Keeping Quality 100%
- Addressing Adhocs.
- Continuous improvement in reducing refresh time.
3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- University degree in Engineering/Business/Finance or related field required.
- 6 to 8 years experience in Business / Consulting / Finance area or related fields with strong analytical and technical knowledge of Business or Financial KPI s
- Working in a process-oriented, result-oriented, and ethical-oriented organization
Functional Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation skill
- Proficient with Data Visualization and Dashboarding Tools
- Understanding of Sales Reporting and Analysis tools and processes
- Understanding of financial concepts and transactions
- Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be highly flexible and react swiftly to changing priorities and urgent situations.
- Working experience on FMCG client especially Beverages/beer industry is added advantage.
- Work in a multi-cultural environment
- High level of service mind-set
- Strong organization skills; adheres to deadlines; Good business sense.
- Highly results focused and with a strong attention to detail.
- Highly structured and systematic approach to delivering business solutions.
- Excellent team player and able to build productive working relationships across functional areas, with colleagues and peers.
