Chartered Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Account Management: Demonstrated experience in managing large accounts and overseeing the financial operations of the organization.
2. Showroom Operations Oversight: Oversee the operations of 2 to 3 showrooms, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures to maintain financial compliance.
3. Daily Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of all accounts and immediately report any discrepancies identified, ensuring smooth financial operations.
4. Collection Verification: Verify that cash and cheque collections are remitted to the bank by respective circles, zonal, or head office locations, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
5. Bank and Cash Book Reconciliation: Conduct weekly reconciliation of bank accounts and the cash book to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
6. Statutory Compliance Monitoring: Proactively monitor and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including timely payments before due dates, to avoid penalties or legal issues.
7. Discrepancy Resolution: Address and rectify any identified discrepancies, omissions, or issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken promptly.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience in financial management and accounting operations preferred from Jewellery Industry.
• Strong understanding of statutory regulations and compliance in India.
• Experience in overseeing accounts for retail or showroom operations especially for Jewellery Showroom is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
