Airtel - Data Analyst (5-8 yrs)

About the Position:

- We are looking for a- Lead Data Analyst- to join our- Product & Business Analytics team at Airtel.

- This role will be owning analytics for 1-2 divisions/pod. You will be expected to drive data driven decision making with senior management, manage multiple use case backed problem statements, GTM solutions and build perspective on how analytics can shape the pods vision/roadmap.

- Manage multiple projects/problem statements in parallel

- Maintain- a high bar on analysis- and quality of work

- Understand- the- business nuances- and go beyond the problem being solved

- Effectively communicate- workplan, timelines, dependencies and risks-

- Challenge the status quo- and shape the analytics roadmap

Responsibilities:

- Develop an in-depth understanding of user journeys on Airtel Digital Channels and generate data driven insights & recommendations to help product/business in meticulous decision making

- Structures- workstreams and- drive clarity- within the team and stakeholders

- Ability to take the larger vision for the organization and collaborate with stakeholders in building vision for respective product or program-

- Work- cross-functionally- to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models and make recommendations

- Enhance the- solution design- and- proactively work- with stakeholders

- Mentor- junior team members and peers

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

- B.Tech/BE- degree in Computer Science/related technical field or Statistics/Operations Research background

- 5+ years of experience- in core business analytics/product analytics

- Hands on experience on SQL, Python

- Past experience of working on large datasets (big data)-

- Excellent with data visualization and strong understanding of Tableau, Superset

- Strong problem-solving skills- and should be able to engage senior management with data

- Experience with data structures & feature modelling. Ability to effectively manage and communicate data mart plans to internal customers

- Effective communication skills- and experience working across multiple teams will be a plus (data engineering, data analytics, product squads)
