Role & responsibilities
Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be) University, Department of Engineering and Technology, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Mathematics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, conducting research, and mentoring students while contributing to the academic growth of the institution.
Preferred candidate profile
- M.Sc. in Mathematics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or NET/SET qualified in Mathematics

- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience at the university/college level. (Fresh Ph.D. holders with strong research backgrounds may also apply.)
- Experience in mentoring undergraduate students.

Till date, I like only Job security. The university is open to innovative work. If your research paper was published in Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4 Journal then the university gives you benefits.
- Salary - Excellent
The work load is too much now. Assistant Professors have to work 22-24 hours. Now work culture was not good in Off Campus, Navi Mumbai. It’s open on National Holidays. There are less than 15 days CL in a year.
- Work satisfaction - Poor
