Procurement Intern - BKC

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end PR-PO process, including reviewing purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather procurement requirements, clarify specifications, and ensure alignment with operational needs.
• Liaise with vendors to collect quotations, confirm order details, and track delivery timelines.
• Update and maintain procurement records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Help resolve routine vendor issues under the supervision of procurement professionals.
• Support the analysis of procurement data, including spend tracking, order management, and performance metrics.
• Contribute to compliance checks, ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines and organizational standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team setting.
• Previous experience or coursework in procurement, supply chain, or logistics is a plus but not mandatory.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time internship for a duration of 6 months, based in Mumbai.
• A stipend will be provided, and a certification will be awarded upon successful completion of the internship.
