Group Lead-Mechanical / PLC Senior Principal

Role & responsibilities

 Is responsible for mechanical / PLC operations as a member of the development management.

 Is responsible for the mechanical / PLC development process; providing mechanical / PLC development infrastructure and processes.

 Is responsible to establish core function of mechanical / PLC development.

 Is responsible of the definition of mechanical / PLC specification.

 Approve development design verification mechanical / PLC drawing to ensure that the development is confirm to mechanical parts specification.

 Is responsible for the overall design approval status for mechanical / PLC parts.

 To establish a good level of human resources and work jobs.

 Is responsible for performance appraisals and objective definition.

 Is responsible for managing and motivating activity staff.

 Is responsible for recruitment and training needs for the activity staff in term of job competency.

 Conduct periodic mechanical / PLC design review on progress of projects.

 Ensure good cooperation with functional groups, project management, focus and skill groups.

 Is responsible for assigning mechanical / PLC engineer representative for the projects.

 Is responsible to ensure that the mechanical / PLC function is executing with respect to design procedure.

 Report to Department Lead.

Preferred candidate profile

 Knowledge in Eq./Fixture mechanical / PLC design

 2D/3D/PLC programming software tool control application.

 Mechanical material, Mold Injection, Metal Stamping Tooling management knowledge.

 Knowledge and experience on the Microsoft applications such as Excel, Work and Power Point are necessary.

 Written / verbal in English are necessary.
