Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Identify and reach out to potential clients in the scientific and research community. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients. Negotiate terms of sales and service agreements.
Technical Support and Consultation: Understand client needs and provide technical advice on the appropriate instruments and solutions. Assist clients with the selection and application of scientific instruments. Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting as needed.
Product Knowledge and Training: Stay updated with the latest developments in scientific instruments and technologies. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and network with industry professionals.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify new market opportunities. Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Coordinate with the customer team to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Travel: Travel to client sites, trade shows, and industry events as needed to meet with clients and demonstrate products. Candidate should effectively drive sales, support clients, and contribute to the overall growth and success of their company.
