Senior Accountant

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Sr. Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring financial transaction accuracy, and maintaining a balanced ledger.

• Manage invoice processing, vendor relationships, and department operations
• Establish and enforce controls for accurate invoice processing
• Provide guidance and support to the team
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to address invoice/payment issues
• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns
• Monitor accounts payable performance metrics and suggest improvements
• Stay updated on tax regulations for compliance
• Finalization of Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual books of accounts.
• Handling Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Cost Audit, Domestic TP.
• Filling Form 3CA-CD (Income tax Audit).
• Income Tax Assessment related work.
• Preparation of monthly MIS and Financial statements to the management and Investors.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally Prime
• Strong knowledge of accounts, taxation and RERA
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in a Chartered Accountancy Firm is preferred
• Residence in or around PMC with a 2-wheeler.
