QA Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manual and Automation Tester with over 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, experience with automation tools, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Document and track bugs, ensuring clear and concise communication of issues.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
• Analyze test results to ensure high-quality deliverables and identify areas for improvement. Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Java.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms.
