Quality Assurance Manual Engineer (3-5 yrs)

Overview :

3+ years of experience.

Develop, document, and maintain test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, and automated scripts.

Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methods and practices.

- Strong functional and technical understanding

- Participate in Requirement Gathering and document them

- Prepare test case documents using the requirements and maintain them

- Manually verify the functionalities against the test cases and raise issues for fixes.

- Reporting issues in the defect management tool and following them up with the development team till their closure

- Ensuring the quality is met while delivering and raising concerns if not

- Automating the smoke testing scope if possible

- Interacting with the client for clarifications on requirements and documenting the same

Technical Skills :

- 4 years of Software testing experience in Manual testing

- Good hands-on experience in Functional testing, Agile methodology, software testing skills

- Software Testing skills: Functional Testing, Test case Writing, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, API Testing, Integration Testing, UAT

- Test Experience in Mobile testing, API testing with Postman or Swagger

- Hands-on experience in DB testing, ability to write SQL queries

- Tools: Any defect management tool (Preferably Jira) or Postman

- Supporting clients on daily basis on the testing activities

- Experience in client communications and interactions

- A good and learning attitude

- Knowledge in Cloud testing

- Experience in Shell scripting or familiarity with CLI is a plus
