Job Title: QA Lead
Experience: 10+ years
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic QA Lead with over 10 years of experience in software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional testing, API testing, and hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman. The QA Lead will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, writing test cases, creating test scenarios, and ensuring that our applications meet the highest quality standards.

- Lead the QA team and manage testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure that the software meets the specified requirements.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman to ensure seamless backend functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements.
- Analyze test results, track defects, and communicate testing progress and results to the team and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior QA team members.
- Ensure continuous improvement in testing processes to deliver quality software efficiently.
- Work closely with the automation team and provide support in implementing test automation using Java or Python with Selenium (optional but preferred).
Requirements Skill Sets Required:
- Strong experience in functional testing including writing and executing test cases and creating detailed test scenarios.
- Proven experience in API testing and using Postman or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Experience in creating detailed test plans and ensuring that all functional and non-functional aspects of the software are covered.
- Good to have database knowledge to understand data flows and validate backend processes.
- Exposure to test automation using Java or Python with Selenium would be an advantage.
