Collaborate with stakeholders including process, equipment and automation teams to assist data-driven process improvement by implementation of supportive AI models
Work with process development specialists to identify relevant applications, needs and limits for AI models
Support and if needed build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from corresponding data sources
Ensure easy and world wide usability of implemeted AI models by HMIs or WebApps.
Execute and support process planning, preparation and analysis of DOES
Implement scalable pipeline to transform e.g. quality values, process parameters, etc. and make them accessable for processing in the AI models (data pipeline architecture)
Support all sampling activities, review and analyse sampling reports
Implement cloud-based solutions for scalability and implement unit, integration, and regression testing with log files
Ensure data quality for targeted development processes and data usage
Act as the bridge between Manufacturing technology and Simulation / Automation / Digitalisation teams
Identification of new trends and their evaluation for usage within Process Development
Discussion and creation of new features in AI models to enhance their ability/accuracy
Implementation of of new features into AI models or adaption of code to new usecases e.g. Implementing Monitoring pipeline, continuous integration, and continuous testing pipeline for selected problems (to improve the accuracy with time).
Looking for new opportunities to leverage production or quality data in AI models to optimize manufacturing efficiency and derive product improvements
Experience:
University Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Autonomous Systems / AI area or similar
Knowledge in programming languages, MLOps, development and deployment of applications
Experience in implementation of AI models, pipelines and experiences in Graph CNNs is a plus
Understanding of plastics manufacturing processes and automation in an automotive environment is prefered
Primary language of location and English language skills are required
