Job Description
- Perform advanced-level technical duties requiring independent judgement and analysis
- Participate in and coordinate gathering of business requirements for application development
- Be able to document code and utilize source code to create and maintain a clean history of code changes.
- Participate in architecture, implementation, design, administration, maintenance, documentation, and support of the Oracle EBS application stack.
- Communicate and coordinate with the department and the business to minimize impact during maintenance and upgrade windows. Ensure thorough planning, testing and approval from the business before any transition or implementation.
- Research, evaluate, monitor, and recommend emerging technology of beneficial data technologies.
- Work with business analysts to develop business solutions
- Test and debug software components
- Revise programs to eliminate errors and/or improve functionality
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Intermediate Knowledge of Oracle EBS
- 5+ Years of experience Programming in SQL and PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of Java
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to go beyond the minimum requirements
- Communicate effectively with peers and other teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to maintain a strong attention to detail, maintain customer-oriented focus, and collaborate and function effectively within a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to adapt to new and different assignments
