Perform and review CNC programming and Vericut simulation library optimization.
Time Studies and Line Balancing depicting Manufacturing Processes
Participate in the project planning, design, development, testing, and release of new Machined/Forged/Sheet Metal products and product improvements.
Support product design and design of required tooling for new and existing products.
Coordinate with Site Leads and Design Engineers to ensure Product requirements are understood and the desired features are accurately comprehended in product specifications.
Participates in various ME-Technical Reviews throughout the product development cycle, preparing technical presentations to various collaborators.
Support establishing key product characteristics and develops a bill of materials and tooling required for an approved design
Analyze the Manufacturing Processes (Process sheets, Tools, Facility Requirements, etc.) and suggest improvements where possible.
Confer with design engineering and purchasing in determining product specifications.
Good working relationship and effective communication skills with vendors, team members, suppliers, and project teams
Completion of miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by your supervisor/manager/ leader.
Work with the team of Engineers to achieve project deliverables within Cost, Schedule, and Budget
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Exposure to Collaborating with key cross functional stakeholders to achieve Project objectives and deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Manufacturing/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.
5-10 years of relevant experience in Automobile/Aerospace Industries.
Preferred Qualification:
Exposure to Machined/Sheetmetal/Forging Commodity.
Experience in NC programming, Vericut simulation in Automobile/Aerospace industry.
Exposure Should Costing, Estimation Tools or Shop floor simulation tools (Technomatix/FlexiSim) will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
