Senior Software Engineer Automation

Responsibilities.

Job Description.

Responsibilities include deigning automation framework and tests.

Creating automation tests, design documents and framework validation.

Establish test automation across product lines working with the team.

Analyze competitive products and technologies to make demos or proof of concepts (POCs) to influence the test automation direction.

Implement automation test processes, strategies, and approach for requirements-based testing.

Work closely with the team to establish the capability and solutions around test automation.

Work with global stakeholders to establish the goal of test automation and framework design.

Skills And Experience.

Must have 4-9 years of relevant experience in software automation engineering.

Must have 2-3 years relevant experience in automating embedded device.

Familiarity with automation of desktop & web-based application.

Hands on experience in Python and any other scripting/programming language with sound knowledge of OOPS concepts.

Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD, agile, TDD and BDD concepts.

Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to delivery and proposing solutions.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, decision making skills and verbal and written communication skills.

Experienced in source control management such as Git and GitHub.

Good to have.

Strong background of embedded software automation.

Exposure to innovative technology like Artificial intelligence, cloud or IoT.

Exposure to hazard analysis, tool validation and requirement management.

Understanding of medical device standards such as IEC 62304, ISO14971 and IEC 60601.

Familiar with FDA guidelines and 510K submission process.
