Senior Accounts Executive

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to handle back-office accounting functions for a large overseas entity. This role requires frequent communication with international teams via phone and email, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient handling of financial tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting operations, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining financial accuracy.

What you'll do in this role & What were looking for:

• Journal Entries: Accurately passing journal entries in the financial system while ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with company policies and standards.

• Bank Reconciliations: Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure that financial records align with bank statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• MIS Reporting: Preparing, drafting, and generating various Management Information System (MIS) reports, ensuring they reflect accurate and up-to-date financial data for management review.

• Financial Record Accuracy: Taking responsibility for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records, including reviewing and reconciling ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial documentation.

• Collaboration with Overseas Teams: Actively communicating and coordinating with international teams to ensure all accounting functions and financial operations are executed smoothly and within deadlines.

• Compliance with Financial Standards: Ensuring compliance with both internal financial reporting standards and external accounting regulations to maintain financial transparency and integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelors degree in Commerce or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a back-office environment or with international entities.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and strong working knowledge of accounting software and PC systems.

• Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and precision when handling financial data and performing accounting tasks.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication with both internal and international teams.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in financial records
